How Do You Remove Insecure From Launch Options In L4d2 Nosteam

If you’re playing Left 4 Dead 2 on a non-Steam copy, you may have noticed the "insecure" launch option appearing in your launch options. This can be annoying, but there’s an easy way to remove it. In this article, we’ll show you how to do just that.

Step 1:

Open up your Left 4 Dead 2 installation folder. If you’re not sure where this is, you can find it by right-clicking on the Left 4 Dead 2 shortcut and selecting "Properties." The installation folder will be listed under the "Target" field.

Step 2:

Once you’ve opened the installation folder, locate the "left4dead2.exe" file. Right-click on this file and select "Create Shortcut."

Step 3:

Right-click on the newly created shortcut and select "Properties." In the "Target" field, you’ll see the same path as before, but with a quotation mark at the beginning and end. Delete these quotation marks, and then add the following text to the end of the path: +sv_lan 1

Step 4:

Click "OK" to save your changes. You can now launch Left 4 Dead 2 through this shortcut without the "insecure" launch option appearing. Enjoy!
